Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen) : National Medical Records Day was observed at SUM Ultimate Medicare (SUMUM), leading quaternary-care hospital in Eastern India, on Wednesday. The event brought together a diverse group of doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other clinical professionals working at SUMUM to celebrate the crucial role of medical records in modern healthcare. The program featured a felicitation ceremony honoring health professionals for their exceptional contributions toward strengthening medical record compliance and advancing standards of patient care.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manas Ranjan Sethi, Head, Medical Records Department, described medical records as the backbone of patient care. “Medical Records are the backbone of patient care and hospital
