Mo Bus mishap in Bhubaneswar: Two injured in Master Canteen accident

Mo Bus mishap in Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Feb 25: In yet another accident involving a Mo Bus, two persons sustained serious injuries after being hit by a city bus in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The mishap occurred at Master Canteen Square when the victims were waiting for an auto-rickshaw.

The injured have been identified as Ranjit Behera and Hrudananda Mohanty. While Ranjit suffered injuries on his right leg, Hrudananda sustained wounds on his shoulder and waist. According to sources, the duo had arrived in Bhubaneswar from Puri by train and was waiting for transportation when the accident took place.

Eyewitnesses alleged that the bus was being driven recklessly and accused the bus staff of misbehaving with some people at the site following the incident. The injured were immediately rushed to Capital Hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.

This incident adds to a series of recent Mo Bus accidents in the city. Just days ago, two people lost their lives after being hit by a Mo Bus in the Tomando area. Earlier, on February 6, two women were seriously injured in a similar accident in Chandrasekharpur, while on February 4, a minor girl was crushed to death by a Mo Bus in Raghunathpur.
