Odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 23: Dense fog is expected to blanket several parts of Odisha over the next two days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Issuing a yellow warning, the IMD stated that dense fog is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Khurda, and Cuttack on January 25 and 26.
The IMD’s weather bulletin from the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar also forecasted shallow to moderate fog during the early morning hours at several places in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Balasore, Khurda, and Cuttack, as well as in Puri, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, and Kandhamal on January 25. Similarly, a similar pattern of shallow to moderate fog is expected on January 26 across the same districts.
Additionally, the IMD has predicted a dry spell across Odisha with no significant rainfall expected until January 30, leading to a prolonged period of dry weather with clear skies. The minimum temperature (night temperature) is also expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next three days, with no significant change in temperature during the following two days.
