Odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 2: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Odisha government reassigned several senior IAS officers, including Arindam Dakua, who has been appointed as the Director, Municipal Administration, and Ex-officio Additional Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department. Dakua, who served as the Private Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi since July last year, was previously the Collector of Cuttack.
According to a notification from the General Administration Department:
NBS Rajput, Principal Secretary to the Governor, has been given additional charge as Principal Secretary of the Public Enterprises Department.
Temjenwapang Ao, Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Public Enterprises Department, has been reassigned as Special Secretary, Planning and Convergence Department.
Bhupendra Singh Poonia, Managing Director of IPICOL, has been assigned additional responsibility as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Skill Development and Technical Education Department. Poonia also holds roles as Special Secretary, Industries Department, and Managing Director of IDCO.
The notification specifies that NBS Rajput’s additional appointment in the Skill Development and Technical Education Department will conclude once Poonia assumes charge.
Additionally, Prem Chaudhary, Director of Agriculture and Food Production, has been appointed as Director of Textiles and Handlooms while retaining his additional role as Managing Director, Odisha Agro Industries Corporation Limited.
