odisha news: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Jan 24: Tickets for the highly anticipated day-night ODI cricket match between India and England at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha, will go on sale online starting February 2. Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Suryabanshi Suraj announced that 4,000 tickets will be available for purchase online, catering to the growing number of tech-savvy cricket fans eager to secure their spots early.

In addition to online sales, a counter sale of tickets will take place over two days, allowing fans to purchase tickets in person at Barabati Stadium on February 5 and 6. This dual approach aims to ensure that all cricket enthusiasts have access to tickets for the thrilling encounter scheduled for February 9, 2025.

To enhance the overall match-day experience, a fan park will be established within the stadium precincts for the first time during this ODI match. The fan park will provide various entertainment options and amenities for spectators, creating a festive atmosphere.

Notably, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi made headlines by purchasing the first ticket for the India-England ODI, demonstrating his support for the event and cricket in Odisha.
