Weather News: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Dec 4: Odisha is expected to experience fog and light rain over the next two days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). On December 4, light rain is predicted in one or two places in the Koraput, Rayagada, and Malkangiri districts, while on December 5, rain is anticipated in Koraput and Malkangiri.
In addition to rain, shallow to moderate fog is likely to develop in parts of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Jharsuguda, and Keonjhar districts during this period. Over the past 24 hours, moderate fog has been reported in Phulbani, with shallow fog in Bhawanipatna and Keonjhar. Light to moderate rainfall has occurred in parts of South Interior Odisha, including heavy showers in Koraput. Minimum temperatures have notably dropped in some areas of North Interior Odisha.
While no significant changes in night temperatures are expected over the next two days, a decrease of 2-4 degrees Celsius is forecast for the following three days across the state. The IMD also indicated the possibility of resuming light to moderate rain in various districts, including Bargarh and Jharsuguda, on December 8. The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack are expected to experience a partly cloudy sky for the next seven days.
