Subhadra Yojana: Odisha to launch third phase of Subhadra Yojana on November 24

Subhadra Yojana: Bhubaneswar, (Reporterspen), Nov 9: Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister, Pravati Parida, announced on Saturday the tentative date for the third-phase disbursement of Rs 5,000 under the first instalment of the Subhadra Yojana.

Over 20 lakh eligible women beneficiaries will receive the funds, which will be credited directly to their bank accounts during a ceremony in Sundargarh district on November 24. The event will be attended by Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram, she informed reporters upon her return from the UK.

Parida further stated that all panchayat offices have been instructed to publish the list of rejected applications. She also mentioned that they have identified cases where beneficiaries faced issues with their bank details, and these individuals will be included in the third-phase disbursement.

Reports indicate that approximately 2.67 lakh women’s applications were rejected for various reasons.
Additionally, the Deputy CM confirmed that the fourth and final phase of the first instalment will be released by the end of December, aiming to benefit over 1 crore women in total.
